EDIT: I knew I would forget something in this video, but I forgot to mention that B334 is special cancellable when your opponent hits the ground! So you can do sawtooth kicks or bomb setups :)

Impressive guide man 👍 1 of the best Ive come across so well done. Im a Scorpy head but I decided out of the new DLCs im gona learn Cyrax and Im glad I did. Im using her with Jax and they bring out the best in each other 👍 I got 1 wickedly bad bomb loop with Jaxes groundpound while they are pinned to the floor with the net, then comes the bomb loop setup. Dam sexy 😂🥳👍 Great video buddy.

@cryingman7679 crying man - I do have 1 question. Im noticing a lot of the combos I am trying are not scaling up very high. What move would you say we should concentrate on in our combo to get the damage scaling better ?

@@BenTower17 That's a great question! So Cyrax's best special to land the most is her bombs, but I'm sure you already know that. They scale the best, and they're her main setup tool. When it comes to strings however, you want to land her back 33, jump 12, and stand 3 as much as possible. These buttons and strings should give you the greatest amount of damage. A combo you can try out and compare to what you're doing in damage is: B33-BF1, DF2, B33-DF2, j12, DF2, j.12, 3 and from here you can either set another bomb up, go into sawtooth kick, or do another stand 3 (if you do another stand 3, it'll bump the damage up to 36%). That's all without a kameo as well, and the kameo you're using does have a great impact on Cyrax. Like Sub Zero can effectively work as a second net along with your BF1 for example. Bro. You sold Cyrax to me 👍 Spend a whole day on Cyrax after watching your guide n shes sooo much fun but takes some getting use to if youve never played a setup type character before. Shes a bit awkward to get use to at first, but once I got a feel how best to play her then she was AWESOME. I got her combo setups of Jaxs ground pound whilst netted then into bomb setups n it works sweet. Definitely a fun carachter to learn and a good guide. Thanx buddy 👍

Setup characters definitely take some getting used to, but once they click they are probably some of the most satisfying characters to play. I’ve been beaten quite hard for my first time online yesterday but I’ll get there. Not enough bombs from me and I was doing some unsafe net. What I have to check is that it seems my punish (after blocked D1 for exemple) were not on point. I should use more 11 instead of 23 for punish I guess

I use cyrax cyrax to make my corner combos rage enducing with vert chopper. The sawtooth kick into chopper, 3, 4 combo then enhanced air sawtooth kick, mid bomb unblockable grab into the bomb reset.

Btw Jump 34 is the more damaging Route in the air to end combos with the Ex net over Jump 21. It even does more damage than Jump 212 Ex Net

Well, in total this guide is pretty good, but I just don’t agree with your cameos choices, and her combos. Her main potential is setups, so you better to do couple percentages less damage, but prepare for the next setup. In the example, you can use sub zero, so u will be able to freeze enemy at the end of your combo and place like 2 bombs, but the main thing with sub, is that you can combo with your command grab b1. It deals like 25% damage and you can make a setup at the end. Next one, is sector, he can save you from some unsafe moves, and also, help you to make a setup, when you call him for his rocket at the end of the combo, in this way you can also place couple bombs and his rocket will fall on the enemy’s head, what will not let you opponent jump from your bomb setup. And the final one is cameo cyrax, he can easily shoot his net at the end of the combo, which let you setup like 3 bombs, and also, his net is draining opponent bar, what is crazy, because if cyrax catch you, it’s really hard to escape from her pressure and setups without breaker

Sorry I got back to you so late, but yeah I definitely agree! I just like using Motaro because that's the kameo I have the most fun with Cyrax, However, any kameo that allows for setups is highly recommended with Cyrax. I'd even throw Shujinko in there, especially now that he has his crumple state assist which guarantees two bombs setup on your opponent along with whatever moves he can steal.

@@Gont215 Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised, it seems so obvious for there to be a cooldown on these bombs like Cyrax had in MKX. Like in that game Cyrax had to wait a bit before tossing another bomb of the same distance, so I have no idea why they didn’t do that here.

Input it around when your opponent bounces on the ground after the side switch! Then it should work, but let me know if it’s still giving you trouble.
