Interested in obtaining citizenship or residence in a BRICS country as a hedge against the decline of the West and the US-dominated financial system? Watch this video where we reveal 8 BRICS member states, as well as potential members of the alliance, that offer entrepreneurs and investors alternatives to living, investing and doing business in the West: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eauaeH2cjr2iqas

China’s democracy = gov officials are chosen by the people based on their previous achievements and behaviors. US’s democracy = gov officials are chosen by billionaires that make up 1% of the US’s population. Isn’t China’s democracy a true democracy since the gov officials are chosen by the majority of regular Chinese people instead of by a small group of billionaires like the US’s gov officials are chosen? The US’s democracy is a fake democracy that is runs by billionaires while China’s democracy is real!

Last week, JD Vance soon to be Vice President said “We have built a foreign policy of hectoring, moralizing, and lecturing countries that don’t want anything to do with it” “The Chinese have a foreign policy of building roads and bridges and feeding poor people,” That's the power of BRICS and also the BRI.

I lived a decade in Asia and the last two years here in San Francisco. The United States is in a complete decline culturally and materially. Asia, at least from my experience is a far more superior place culturally and materially in 2024. This trend will continue as far as I can see going forward. i’m happy that the world has finally moved into a multipolar state. All branches of government here appear in my eyes illegitimate.

Exactly. I have always said that the problem is not Africa. The problem is the current global order is founded on the old European colonial system. African issues will only be satisfied when they are incentivized to rise to the current living standards enjoyed by most of the world. Every household should have access to clean water and be able to own a washing machine.

@@kwokholuk8723 the comparison with Germany and France relates to area. Ethiopia has 1.1 million square km. I think Cyrus fail to understand the nuance behind common prosperity. It’s not communism per se.. but it’s a call to prioritise social well-being over quick gains and growth, inclusiveness and having social safety nets. Chinese grow and set policy in phases according and the current administration is prioritising sustainable growth rather then growth at all cost which is seen during Jiang zemins era.

Andrew and team I know this is a bit unrelated to this outstanding interview, but can you do a show that speaks to the freest countries around the world not being vulnerable to geo political manipulations, military threats by distancing themselves economically from being dependent on US in any capacity?

Rwanda, a great destination for Nomads. Kigali is on a fast rise trajectory, better rise with the current wave before it becomes unaffordable.

Janssen misspoke sanctions and tariffs are NOT the same thing. Sanctions are about NO trade, requiring other countries to cooperate (which they often do not do) and sanctions ARE a trade war by design. Tariffs are about managed trade, do not require cooperation by multiple countries to work and help to avoid trade wars by promoting give and take between countries.

It's not just the Executive Branch in the US government that is destructive. Congress is also extremely destructive.

@@fatdoi003 I seriously doubt that having Republicans control the US government will be beneficial. I was politically aware in the 2000s and Republicans that while they didn't have a 6-3 majority on the Supreme Court, they still had a majority along with the presidency and Congress. Economic growth and employment wasn't great in addition to substantial increases in government spending led to a massive increase in the national debt. On the foreign policy side of things the US government was engaging in unnecessary, unjust and destructive wars in addition to trying to sanction Iran and North Korea (two countries of the so-called "Axis of Evil") into submitting to the will of the US government. None of those policies benefitted the US or the majority of Americans.
