For anyone confused at the beginning, he's talking about effective healing. Because you're taking 50% less damage your "effective" health is 1,600 during Take a Breather, and having more effective health also increases effective healing. Double effective health means double healing, so Take a Breather is "effectively" healing 360hp per second

effective health is the right terminology but the healing is the same, if you have 400 hp and heal thru damage you will only heal 450 hp no matter what (360 from the dps passive i believe, im not 100% on hogs healing numbers). but you will have more effective health because you mitigate more damage, healing is not better it will just make using breather feel better. you will have more hp but it wont be “more” healing just more survivability i get what cyx is trying to say, ur healing will in fact be better overall. but hogs healing numbers will be the exact same

For Hog heals against the DPS passive. (1 - 20% = 0.8). Since you are healing 1 tick of hp repeatedly (0.8 x 450 = 360), which is how much he had during the first fight.

I don't mind the healing reduction while taking damage thing except on hog. The issue it still doesn't fix is the combos like mercy + widow sojourn, pharah.

One issue with the passive is that there isnt any indicator. Imagine if discord orb was completely invisible. And not only that, but it can also be applied by two people on the enemy team.

@@okwhy8720 not really. even when RH is struggling Cyx is still killing more people than not. he never gets mowed down in the way he mows down the other team with hook kills. he just ends up giving up the few times he is getting crazy dps'd and has to hide behind los and goes zarya or something. he's still really good and periodically dominant on RH when RH is supposedly bad. altho u could say the same about chasm w/ ball.

​@@PTSDwithME the most important point is that the character is fundamentally trash for the new passive and the character received nothing in exchange to compensate it, i get it, you think hog is op and all that shit but you are forcing your team to play better than the enemy team to actually win the game, combine that with the fact that in this speedy and unoneshotable comps ana is not even needed to take a hog down, the character fundamentally is trash and the only way that you can manage to make him work is if you are better than the enemy team, but once again whats the point of playing hog anymore if he cant oneshot and cant tank better than literally any other tank, the character is so bad is disgusting, imagine i started to play reinhardt and i was a hog main

That dps passive shouldn't effect a characters self heal. Hog, queen, maui, reaper, soldier. Should only effect incoming healing from others

damn, the entirety of your heal had the dps passive cyx lmaooo. hogs healing is 450 which minus 20% would be 360 which is the exact amount of healing you had after your first death. if they increase his heal by 50 it would make it so he can do 400 healing at least. but with 50% mit idk if they would it TOO difficult for non-dps roles to kill hog. killing him on tank would be near impossible
