Thing is tho, Cyno doesn't kill indiscriminately, Arlecchino does. She doesn't do it in a way that brings heat toward the HotH, but she absolutely merc's people that get in her way that she can't just swat like flies. Cyno hasn't killed anyone that we know of, since he's literally part of the Gov't of Sumeru. He can't just vigilante it up like Diluc/Rosaria/Arlecchino because he's a part of the gov't and represents it as the "executive branch". Like, has he killed people that have attack him when he tries to bring them to justice? Sure. Just like cops IRL. But just like cops IRL or detectives, he doesn't kill people when he deems it "necessary". He has to have a legit reason to do so.

Im guessing it's because of how much of a facade lyney puts up. If freminet is actually set to become the next head of the orphanage it could be because Arlecchino saw to much of "mother" in lyney (maybe not, who knows? 🤷‍♀️)

When Arlecchino is talking to the injured woman the first time she's full colour, when we see her talking to the woman again she's desaturated, the red in her eyes and outfit aren't as vibrant. I wonder if that's a nod to the fact that the woman who's eyes we're seeing out of is dying, or if there's more going on. The curse has some weird effects and we know pretty much nothing about it. Fascinating.

It's likely because she was dying. Arlecchnio's curse does seem to flare when she's around death. Or at least it did when she was a child, but it doesn't seem to affect her clothes or the environment around her

We didn't kill Signoria though, Raiden did. The Traveler hasn't killed anyone, just defeated and then other parties got involved or other circumstances happened. So unless Nuevilette decides to extinguish her for causing trouble again I highly doubt that she'll die.

The Traveler kills nameless Fatui agents all the time. And you can choose whether or not you want to kill the spy in the Aranyaka quest. But they've never killed a major character, no.

I will be wishing for Arlecchino,For her strength,lore and voice lines.Her voice lines will most likely reveal things about the fatui and other fatui members such as Pierro,Capitano and Columbina.She’s also most likely going to survive,I don’t think they would allow us to play a dead character. Signora died and she’s not playable,All of the dead adepti’s aren’t playable,All of the dead gods aren’t playable.I highly doubt they’d let a playable character be dead.A lot of us think she’s going to train us to fight for Natlan.I’ve seen that a lot. Have you finished the last Fontaine archon quest?Because I think that’s what their going to do for Natlan,Revive a character that was mentioned in the Fontaine Archon quest.And Genshin is already dark with lore,Khaenriah is gonna be one of the darkest stories Genshin will have.Khaenriah was already destroyed and we’ll here more lore from it.Whatver Dainsleif has to say will most likely be some of the darkest things we’ve ever heard.

Maybe we don’t kill Arlecchino, but we beat her and get her so weak that her curse eventually flares up to the point where she can’t fight anymore and then announces that ______ is now the new “King” and the leader of the house of the Harth???? Cuz she is fourth, so it be hard to defeat her with her rank. So far we’ve only fought 11th, 8th, and 6th and won, but 4th seems like a rank that might kinda be hard to fight. Also, I do hope Genshin goes down a darker path with the game

we didn't win the battle against the 6th on our own, we had help from a third party, and the same applies to when we fought Raiden/Ei as well. I feel like the same will happen for the 4th.

Ngl I WILL be pretty upset if they were to kill off Arlecchino. For one she's our first playable female harbinger, why even make her into a unit just to pull a Signora on her? It would just come off as playing favorites with both tartaglia and wanderer getting to live while signora and arle die 😭 But for the second point I personally think it would thematically make more sense for the sibling trio to spare her even if they gain the upper hand. There's a cycle of violence started with "Mother", who Knave defeats and while she tries to change the way HoH is run, she does NOT break the cycle. So Freminet, Lyney and Lynette could be the nice thematic conclusion stopping what is clearly "Father" slipping into repeating the cycle by employing Arlecchino's own teachings of working together.

I personally dont think its about people who cry if a playable character is dead. Since some of the Genshin people (both dev team and audience) would have been in Honaki 3rd where u know. Its more like the set up of the game. The world which healed, healing and everyone is playing thier role with a certain limit because they need to achieve thier goals. For example Focolars, she could have directly fought the heavenly principles causing a massive destruction and bloodshed in Fontaine but she had to be patience for 500 years to reach her goal since she know which option would provide the better outcome. I don’t know what others have a thought on this but for me Genshin is well balanced between executing a disaster while also maintaining the serenity. There are also high chances in future updates where we might see playable characters getting swoosh and arlecchino’s animation video is making us to prepare.
