Really nice coach gun there pete. Reminds me of my cowboy kick i got on last year. I started watching all these western and before I knew it I had colt single action army's, Sharp's carbine. I had also got a Winchester 1873 carbine absolutely beautiful. Hell I even started wearing a stetson hat and a rain slicker. It was awesome. I had chicks looking at me right and left. I finally work my way out of that phase I guess. I love anything to do with the old days.

Wonder if you noticed that the screws are all pointed towards the muzzle. That is really nice.

Handsome shotgun, Pete! My first ever shotgun bought in the late ‘60’s, developed rust at the end of the barrel. I used the same Brownells cold blue product to touch it up after removing the rust.

Beautiful gun. At first look I thought the case hardening effect was actually Mother-of-Pearl. You need a photo of yourself in a big sombrero with two bandoleers crossing your chest, a serape slung over your shoulder and a skinny little Clint Eastwood cigar sticking out of the corner of your mouth. Merry Christmas Pete !

I love mine. It’s the only firearm I’d never sell and I’ve owned a shit ton of guns. Hickok has a great review on one of these and a ‘’woods walk” shooting targets in the woods. These were sought after before CZ started to import them. Now days when they do come in, they don’t last too long. Which is saying something, it’s a 800-900 double barrel. It’s something about a nice coach gun that transcends what it is, it’s right up there with my H&K SP5 which is weird

Hi Pete. I picked up one of these superb CZ shotguns on December 24th 2021, one year after you posted this video. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I own one of these. Beautiful piece. When I shoot it I put on the rubber shoulder pad. When I'm finished I take it off and put it back on the rack.

I like the Hammer Classic a little better. It’s the 30 inch barrel and it looks even more antique to me. I have a CZ Teal 20 gauge over under, and it’s been a great gun. Beautiful gun my friend.

The color case hardening is actually a chemical process; it is not actual charcoal/bone case hardening. Not to take away from the beauty of it. I have one of these also; beautiful shotguns. Turkish made by Huglu for CZ-USA. Shooting it will loosen it up. Def throw a limbsaver on that butt lol. It's a whopper. You have to let both barrels go at the same time at least once. That may be all you need LOL.

These guns are made in Turkey by a company called Huglu. And the wood they use is Turkish Walnut which accounts for the darker color in the wood. Also, those barrels are chrome lined, so that's not cut off metal he was seeing. Did he really think that CZ would go to all the trouble of making everything else look great, only to have just bare cut metal at the end of the barrels? Now, if he didn't like that look, then bluing the ends was a good idea.

You could use a browning or beretta vest with a padding pocket to shoot it. There are probably hunter jackets with padding sewed to the shoulder.

What's the difference between having to cock the hammers to fire and "decocking" a safety to fire. The gun can't fire without either way. Sounds to me that before the era of enlightenment hammers were safeties.
