CZ 455 Varmint Precision Trainer- DIY budget ARCA rail/ bipod clamp

I am curious on how deep you drilled into your stock in order to install your T-Nut? I purchased a 3/4" Forstner bit and just want to make sure that I get it right. I followed your lead, purchased the ARCA rail from Amazon (fits perfectly!) and am going to install it on my Manners stock on my 452 Varmint. Thank you so much for making this video!!!!!

It's refreshing to see good Ol' Canadian Ingenuity hard at work building these kinds of accessories in place of purchasing them! I'm not against folks that provide a good product like Area 419 does, making money, but in today's screwed up economy, saving money where you can makes a LOT of sense! Well done!

Make sure you lubricate stainless on stainless threads. Notorious on galling. Otherwise nice build . Great ideas

Thank you very much for the kindness. I actually cant believe how much the $60 investment changed the rifles ability so much. It almost seems worth it to go the DIY route to see what one is missing.

Outstanding to hear! The T nut depth I judged using the factory Manners sling stud hole as a guide. I made sure to account for the “stud” of the T nut ( so it wouldn’t protrude) but if I recall I just set the drill press stop to not push through and then checked little by little as I went. I know the 452 Manners is a little different, so it may not make sense as I describe it!

Is the bottom of your forend flat ? Does the Arca rail sit flush against it?

Yes it does. The 455 Manners stock is flatter than the 457s
