100% My CZ-75b has chewed up and spat out ammo that choked my Sig and Glock. Especially the "Winchester USA Forged Ammunition 9mm Luger 115 Grain Full Metal Jacket Steel Case" I got 750 rounds fo on a serious "Deal" It ran so dirty that it fouled every 9mm I had...even my CZ EVO, but not my CZ75b, though it did need a good cleaning after. Only run S&B now. Still amazed that the CZ75b! Thought about trading it for a G19...but not anymore.

@@Digitallifeconcepts is this better than overrated glock and cold 1911
@Ethan-ph3nf3 жыл бұрын
Markedly so, but a glock and a 1911 are extremely different than a cz-75. The 1911 design is just so much older that it falls far behind the cz in terms of modernization. Mainly the grip safety, terrible sights, and limited capacity. Some modern versions fix one or two of these, and pocket pistol versions aren’t half bad. The glock is a decent tool. OK sights, great reliability, comfortable-ish, and relatively safe. It has no proper safety, instead a (good) firing pin block attached to a trigger safety. If you like to carry cocked and locked with a regular safety, the cz might be your friend.

How could you say the CZ 75 over the Beretta 92 was the best choice ever made? Those 2 pistols are the 2 best pistols ever made in my opinion. I think you can't go wrong with either one. One of THE most manly things I have ever done is to trade guns for whisky. Actually, I traded four bottles of very good single malt that were from a batch I'd had imported into Canada for a single firearm: An original CZ75B. It had been an undercover firearm got the RCMP and my buddy (who had previously been a police firearms officer) had acquired it when it was released from service. It shoots very well and is probably the AK of 9mms. It simply will not quit. I have put every possibly type of 9mm cartridge through it and it's functioned flawlessly. The only time I ever had a stoppage was my fault, because I was shooting limp-wristed (an off day!) and I absorbed the recoil, which caused a malfunction. These are outstandign guns and I highly recommend them. I have CZ rifles, too, and they are superior firearms in every sense.

Full metal body (or at least like 85-95%), 9mm, barely smaller than some model 1911’s I barely ever feel any recoil and definitely it doesn’t affect my shooting as much as the newer plastic 9mms that are more popular these days. In addition to those important comments and impressions already stated, I would add that this handgun is the most comfortable semi-automatic pistol to hold in one's hand and this was done with a steel frame. Impressive. That is evidence of the consideration and forethought that went into the design and manufacture of a pistol that was to be an improvement on the John Browning designed Hi-Power pistol. I believe, while there are some compromises, it actually is an improvement on that venerable and excellent Browning design.

The SP-01 rebuild completely destroyed everything that is good about the CZ-75B. The CZ-75B feels perfect in your hand. The balance is beautiful and it seems so slim compared to other full-size 9mm pistols. The accuracy is great too. The CZ-75 feels like it is an extension of your body, the way any outstanding weapon should. The SP-01, not so much. The SP-01 is too front heavy and therefore has no balance, it feels like it should come with an optional bipod. They also changed the grip, which is one of the best features of the CZ-75 platform, making the one on the SP-01 feel blocky and uncomfortable. I'll stick with the original.
@DocMitchell6910 жыл бұрын
I feel the opposite. The original CZ was one of the most uncomfortable and unimpressive pistols I've ever felt. I liked the aggressive side panels, but the front and backstrap are smooth, something I'm not fond of. It looked cool, but man I couldn't stand the way it felt. I handled the SP-01 not too long ago, and I thought it was nice. It felt much better. The night sights on it were very bright and very crisp looking, and had a checkered front and back strap. It felt surprisingly thin and balanced well for me. In my opinion, the SP-01 is a definite upgrade to the original.

I just bought a CZ75 compact. Haven't shot it yet. The trigger pull is really hard. Took all the strength in my finger to pull it. I can't see how it can be fired accurately when using it in DA mode. It just takes too much force. Also, I bought a DA/SA version which, to my surprise, doesn't have a decocker. Silly me, I just assumed all DA/SA pistols had them. Yes, yes, I know I should have checked when I bought it. I will just think of it as a single action and be happy. Grip is extremely big. Much larger then a 1911, Beretta 92 or a Glock. I don't have a problem with that but someone with smaller hands would not consider this a "compact" gun. Actually, I had hope to buy a Browning Hi-Power but they're not in production any more.

The SP01 Shadow is also full metal, not polymer. It is identical to the SP01 but without firing pin block. There is a polymer version of the SP01, the “Phantom” but it is not the “Shadow”. The Shadow is very popular in completion because of its weight and lack of firing pin block, which makes for a way smoother trigger. The firing pin block and lever in the B models adds friction and grittiness to the trigger pull.

I have had my CZ 97B a few months now and am used to the weight, but it took a little while (one session at the range) to get used to the fat grip. I'm a pretty good size, 6'2" 225 lbs, but have only average size hands for a guy my size. I love it now, ZERO malfunctions, and the kick is minimal for a .45. Still like my CZ 75B the best, but if if I want the punch of a .45, I'd never have anything BUT the CZ 97.

I have a 75 B with the OD Green frame made in 1993. Trigger is not as smooth in DA as newer mods. But it's extremely accurate and fun to shoot.

The most accurate handgun I've ever shot was a Ceska in 9x18. It was incredible.

Hey Hickok you should do a video on how to purchase a firearm. From selecting the type of pistol to the common sense of walking into and speaking to a firearm salesman/ dealer. What question should you ask and what you should expect from the salesman/ dealer.

Thanks for the walk thru on this gun. I have inherited one, and didn't know a thing about it. Took it to a local gun shop to sell, and was told it wasn't worth anything, I was asking 400 for it, and was told they won't pay anything near that.

I got a nice cz75 few years ago, I also have a glock 19, been to the range and tried few other 9mm. And by far, I enjoy firing my cz75 more than eny other pistol. Accurate, and feels just right.

I actually purchased a CZ17 in 1985 while I was stationed in Germany. I purchased it at an Army Rod and Gun club. I still have it, and it is an excellent 9mm. So it was possible to buy one of these before 1990.

Picked one up the other day, and didn't want to put it down. So nicely balanced, and the grip fits my small, female hands better than any other handgun I've handled, including my S&W M&P Shield. Women, if you are small, and want a full sized gun, this one feels great in a small hand. It's easy to reach the controls, including a very easily manipulated slide release.
