If you want flush-fit mags, Mec Gar no longer makes the flush-fit, 14-round mags. However, you can use a CZ RAMI extended magazine and replace the plastic baseplate with a metallic one, and it's basically the same thing! 👍

Torn between this and a glock 19. The glock grip for me is absolutely horrid but it just always works

Thanks for sharing. As a left handed shooter did you look into an ambidextrous safety? Let me know if you found one. I'm thinking about purchasing a CZ 75 Compact. I noticed from the note pad in your video that we are neighbors so let me know if you are interested in selling yours. Fellow lefty from Lake Forest.

I didn’t look into changing the safety. As for selling I never sell any of my guns.

As a first gun - should I pick 75D or Compact?

If it’s going to be your first gun. I would go with the 75D since it has a de-cocker. I little safer for a first gun.

Both are great guns. It depends on how you are going to use it. If it’s only going to be a home defense or range gun I would go with the B. But if you are thinking of using it as a carry gun. I would go with the compact. Either way you can’t go wrong.

I don't know why anyone would feel the need to manually lower the hammer by hand, on a loaded chamber. Either engage the safety, or eject the round by racking the slide.

Exactly, I couldn't understand why everyone is saying the same thing when they got the safety or they could just eject the round. I thought that maybe you couldn't eject the round for some unknown reason

Are you sure your scale is accurate? Sp01 should be about 40 Oz with empty mag. This would explain why your cz75 compact measurement is off by about 5-6Oz

I just re-weighted the CZ compact and it comes in at 31.6 oz with and empty mag.My CZ SP-01 comes in at 38.8 oz with an empty mag.

You know the de-cocker is not a real safety. After learning about it more, I will choose the safety. and put a nice trigger in it.@@thelefthandedshooter99

Steel is real. The added weight is a good thing for recoil. You can shoot longer without your hand feeling it as aluminum and especially plastic…. Glock cough cough. I just picked up the compact and love the steel frame
