CZ is amazing all around imo. These are fantastic out of the box and plenty of options for "personalization." Non-Omega is fantastic with a simple trigger / spring update, such as Apex or M-Carbo...both very reasonable. You can always go big with CZ Custom or Cajun Gunworks... The P01 is a gun for a lifetime imo. The P07 is another solid choice if you want to save a little weight.

I love this gun. I've owned mine for close to 10 years now. It was my EDC for many years. It's now a safe queen but it's one of my SHTF go to options. I quit carrying it because of it's weight after the pandemic I don't really wear pants with a gun belt. And I started carrying the P07 , G43x , P320 xcompact, Beretta PX4 storm compact carry, Ruger lcp max, Body Guard 2.0 and Canik Mete mc9ls.

I like my P07 so much I bought another one to have Cajun Gun Works mill it for an optic. I like my 75 quite a bit too. Watching this, now I want the P01. Somewhere I became a CZ fan.

After buying several handguns, it's a no brainer to go with the all metal/alloy hammer fired DA/SA trigger. EDIT: I agree SPN, CZ NEEDS the Rami 2.0. My 2075 RAMI is an absolute TANK!!!!!

I have a P-01 and have found that most of the holster for a Sig P320 compact will fit it pretty nicely.

The omega is discontinued but that system is a complete trigger edition that allows you to run deckocker or safety. The regular p01 is decocker only.

CZs are great! I opted for the P07 tactical and it shoots like a dream. I wanted something lighter and cheaper or I would have gotten the P01. I have the baldr S and I can’t find a single holster for my CZ P07 tactical with primary machine comp and light. Home defense and winter carry now because I can’t carry it everyday.

Amazon has a belly Band for guns with lasers and lights ,,, I had same problem with holster for my bedside gun a PPQ with a just the olight balder I can put on the belly band to holster handgun and can then Grab a long gun

I have one of those sitting on my dresser as well speak. I think I got my holster from Harry’s Holsters but can’t remember because it’s been a minute. Great gun that shoots well but I have the same problem with most of my guns. I buy them because I like them so when I hit the range I take multiple guns. I’m never gonna get good with one if I continue to shoot all of them. Every time I go I look at what I have and say to myself “What haven’t I shot in a while” and that’s what I take to the range. It’s a hard habit to break because I like them all and enjoy shooting them. I need to get good with one for summer and one for winter and try to forget about the others. It’s tough…

Good honest review. Love my p01 non omega. Armory craft trigger and some cajun parts makes it a good option. Agree on the recoil. Accuracy has been great for me.

MecGar is the OEM for CZ. I always buy the non-branded ones as they are the exact same thing but less expensive. I would replace that trigger with a CGW defensive carry package w/ SRS flat trigger.

The main differences is this one is a metal frame instead of polymer so i mean if you are looking for a hammer fire glock like pistol there are multiple firearms that fall into that grouping

I picked up a 75BD Police from my local shop. It came with an armorers tag from an action job. Double action pull is 5lb 8oz. It shoots amazing. My brothers SP01 beats it so I'm going to need one of those also.

Have to admit, i was nervous since i know you have a ton of striker fired micros. Wasnt sure how youd fair with a compact hammer fired beauty. Love my p-01 omega. Agree that, due to size, i carry it in the winter. Looking forward to your holster designs!

The non-omega has the better trigger out of the box. Unless you want the safety or plan on upgrading the trigger, i recommend getting the standard version. Pair it with a TLR-7A and its great. I had mine milled for a Holosun 507k and it is perfect. The P01 is dead ass reliable (better than even glock in Nato testing). The standard version was the first handgun to ever be Nato certified

I like my CZ-p01 Omega. Unfortunately I did have problems with it jamming when using +p ammunition (no I didn’t read the owners manual) and it did this weird thing where it left a thin brass ring from the shell casing in the action. CZ told me that it could use a break in period especially with hot loads. I haven’t shot it more with those kind since, but plan to revisit it. I had a CZ P10c 9mm and that one jammed and seized up on me bad one time. I needed to beat on it to get it cleared. Despite these issues, I want to continue to work with them as there are things I that I like.

Congrats on growing up lol...I grew up on Glocks as with most ppl, in the era when the 17 was blowing up... As I got older, I noticed one other gun kept being cloned along with Glocks: what the hell was this CZ 75?? Needless to say, I own many CZs now lol...I rotate between my P01, P07, & my RAMI...I still carry my strikers but imo, CZs are the way to go... Most ppl have never shot them so they're unaware...

It's a really nice handgun but I think a bit lighter stock DA trigger pull could be a little lighter. The trigger has a bit of an odd rolling break. A little Cajun could help.

When are you releasing the holsters? I'll pick one up. Big fan of you and the channel, however my tastes went from subcompact/micro/pocket pistols to compact full size pistols and some rifles. When I saw you had a video on this I was super excited. Glad you got to experience this pistol, I picked up a P01 (non omega) and I truly love it. Upgrade to Dawson Precision sights, you won't regret it. Great video.

They make the CZ PCR but I think the CZ P-01 is the best gun they make. Other option I looked at for a long time is beretta M9 and I think it’s better for a suppressor

My home defense gun is a CZ P-07 which is the polymer frame sibling to the P-01. It's an amazing firearm. Was thinking of picking up a P-01 or a 75 Compact PCR which is the aluminum frame version of the P-01 w/o the rail. Just to get that classic aesthetic
