i own the CZ 805 Bren s1 carbine in FDE for the past 7 months and man its sooo accurate , 100% reliable , 4.5lb 2-stage trigger with a bolt action as smooth as butter seriously this rifle worth every penny...you guys are just awesome CZ and Americans appreciate Czech republic FOR THERE AMAZING ENGINEERING ...

@@johnjohn6548 I got mine in late 2017. I use a lot of cheap Wolf steel ammo. Never had an issue. I got it because I wanted a tough piston action gun. It's heavy, but I'm not rucking 12 miles with it. Overall very satisfied.

I bought this gun in civilian version, I confirm that it is an excellent rifle. Strongly recommended. I also have the VZ 58, it's a very good rifle too.

@@dmill6103 yes it is but you need a licence (relatively easy to get but it take some time) allso this rifle costs more than most czech get on monthy payment, so if its not your hobby arsoft versionn is better for you

Reloading magazine is the big cons . FN SCAR has magazine relaise switch and bolt switch whick lock up an reload gun in short time. And Bren is 1 pound heavier than SCAR. I would prefer SCAR if I was in combat situation.

Çağa TAY I can reload and rack the charging handle on a Bren faster than hitting a bolt release on an AR rifle. One smooth motion up from the mag to hit the bolt handle instead of missing a small bolt release button with your thumb/palm. I can deal with the weight since I have the pistol version. Makes it handier than having a awkward pencil barrel sticking out past the gun. And for $1,200 less money I'll take the "disadvantages"
