@Ryan Marvin TulAmmo is the crapiest crap one can possibly find in the market. It is made in Russian Federation in Tula city and these particular have always been the worst ammo in the market. Avoid them at all cost. There is other Russian brand called "Monarch" and those are really awesome ones, those of high quality and can be highly recommended. But Tul ammo is cheap crap

Been thinking about picking up one of these. I carry a CZ 75 PCR and it's a phenomenal gun. I did a full polish job on the internals and installed the CGW pro package along with some CZ Custom aluminum grips and Heinie straight 8 sights. I couldn't be happier with it. I shoot better with my PCR than with any other gun I've ever handled and the overall quality of the parts and finish is just superb.

I would really love to see a video (or maybe even a video series) where Eric and Chad go out with a fixed budget to buy a specific gun, do any gunsmithing they want and buy any accessories and then each has to review the others. Then at the end ask one of your other team members (or maybe even another youtuber) gets to decide on a winner of the challenge. You could do themes (mall ninja or tacticool or classics etc.) and then sell the guns to raise money for a good charity. I'd watch that all day with you guys being the characters you are.

I have a CZ 2075 Rami 9mm. I bought it new, I've had it for about a year, and have several thousand rounds through it without a single failure. Anyone looking for a reliable pistol that shoots quite accurately ought to give CZ a look. Like you said, they're a little bit more money, but let's be honest; good guns are good investments.

Nice video! I am a big CZ fan.Out here in Europe,imho one of the best deals you can get considering quality/philosophy of use/price . Considering those 3 rules you always seem to end up with CZ for some reason:-) I have a CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow,CZ 75 Tactical Sports with updrades, CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 ,CZ 858 tactical with FD furniture and a great little 100 metres plinker ,the CZ 455. Time machine forward to April 2022. I'm loving my 2021 production 97B bought NIB on Gun Broker. Cleaned and lubricated before first shot, WOW‼️ Smooth, Accurate, soft recoil just like my new 2075 RAMI, and my 1984 75pre-B. The factory red fiber optic front sight is Lazer like at 45 feet. Love love love. The CZ 75 family of pistols is all one person needs. All models are quality, precision, accurate,, comfortable, beautiful to hold and look at. Even my vz52 7.62x25 has a CZ soul. Loser from age but it's power and ear shattering report are comforting. All 70 years of ultimate performance. This 97 B .45 ACP is the 4-Star General of them all. Just like my name, the 97B is the Creighton Abrams tank of CZ pistols. I'm 70 years also, but won't be as strong as these fabulous metal pistols at 90. Being a footsure follower of the 9 mm cal as an adequate self-defense option, I used to come across figures showing that the amount of shot to death by 0.45 cal equals to those wounded by 9 mm cal. The inverse ration sort of.

I owned a CZ P-09 in .40 S&W and wasn't really a fan, so I got rid of it. I just wasn't able to get myself accurate with it. The DA trigger seemed rough, heavy, and too long. But after watching this, I now want one of these to try out.

I love my CZ SP-01 Urban. I bought it right before the People’s Republic of Vermont outlawed the version I have with the full capacity magazine. Magazine is one of those words that is detested and restricted by libs and those in power who are uncommitted to the US Constitution-2A.

They should've never discontinued the 97, it's pretty hard to hard find a .45 pistol that aren't seas of 1911s in my country or Glock 21 just awkwardly sits there for those want something different in .45 ACP. If CZ makes another pistol in .45 ACP I'm in. The fit and finish of 97B is on another level compared to a plasticky comparatively toy-like feel of Glock.

There is no 1911 in that price range, that is equal, or superior to the CZ 97. I say that as a 1911 guy. I know this is an old video; but thanks for your review. I recently went to purchase a Sig Legion P220 SAO; and wound up putting a CZ Custom Shop, '97, on layaway, instead. (I'm still going to get the Legion, later; but due to the scarcity of CZ 97's, I had to jump on it!)

I really like CZ97. It is great gun. But try GP P45 if you can. Love the trigger and low recoil, rotating barrel. The shortest reset what I ever saw. Just try. Or version GP P40 in 10mm. You will be surprised what low recoil it has with this powerful ammo.

I do love most things CZ, but this was one of their designs that I just can't bring myself to like. I think they made a few minor mistakes that just added up to too much for me. The grip was made way too large for the reduced 10 round capacity. If they felt that grip circumference was necessary CZ should have (and still can) make it a 15 round .45. I really want to like it, but for me the SAR K-2 .45 does a much better job at being a .45acp version of the CZ 75 than this pistol does.

CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical is my favorite gun. That said, my Glock 21 has 13 rounds and my FNP45 has 15. The CZ probably is a sweeter shooter but only offers 10 rounds.

ya..go with the CZ 97. thats my thoughts. The 1911s only hold 7 in the mags. Plus the CZ is just plain awesome. And if you like the 1911 cocked and locked style you can do that with the CZ 97 in the regular safety model without the decocker

1911: Pros: Massive aftermarket support, Massive selection, can be converted to 460 Rowland. Cons: Single action only, (usually) low capacity, heavy. CZ-97 Pros: double action trigger, higher capacity. Cons: heavy, little aftermarket support, lacks a rail, no available 460 Rowland conversion. When viewed in isolation I think that the CZ has more merit as a defensive pistol than the 1911. Now that being said, I have never handled either of these guns, so don't take my word for it.

Eric, I have a SAR K2 45. It has 14 shot mags and is a CZ copy. Will the 97 except the SARS magazines?

I can tell you strait out (and likely by now you have already found out for yourself ) that it does not. However apparently Para p-14 mags seem to work in the SAR K2-45. From what I have gathered is the base plates on the mec gar p-14 mag just need to be lowered some to let them lock into place. Also they will not lock back the slide when empty. However I do want to ask how you like that SAR K2? It has some serious interest from me.

+Josh Myers It is a great gun. Just be careful of the barrel bushing. They are notorious for cracking. If you have a 1911 barrel bushing installed. Then they are just GTG.

Scott Edick I picked up the Ruger SR1911 a few weeks ago. Got it at Buds Gun Shop in East TN for $675. I have put roughly 350 rounds through it and it has been flawless out of the box. I couldn't be happier with the reliability so far. And that included ammo ranging from semi wadcutters to ball, and 185-230 grain, factory and hand loads. Incredible bang for the buck. I'll be doing a video for my channel in the near future about it. Have a good one.

+Scott Edick I picked up an Auto Ordnance 1911 almost two years ago for less than $600. I've fired over 1000 rounds through it. Aside from two stovepipe malfunctions (which in reality could have been caused by the way I handled the firearm) early on, the weapon has performed flawlessly. I'm more accurate with my AO1911 than I am with my G21 Gen 4.
