Aside from the barrel bushing the Orange is assembled in the CZ custom shop with an enhanced trigger assembly and the slide to frame is hand fitted for tightness and improved accuracy.

I have the Shadow 2 Blue. It comes with two safeties. Ambi short safety and Ambi Extended safety right hand with short safety weak hand. Without a doubt a great value right out of the box .

The price increase is simple - normally, the workers in the CZ factory are paid per gun, hence the speed is important. Workers producing these are paid per hour, so the craftsmanship is on way better level (not saying that normal CZ guns are bad, it´s still top range, one of the best in the world, if not the best).

Great information, enjoyed the video. Just purchased my Shadow 2 Orange, and would like to have your opinion. I'm not intending to compete with my Shadow 2, but wanted to own one for its quality, and "Precision Accuracy". I have competed in the past, and I am a very accurate marksman. What I would like to know is, what would be the minimum spring weights for both mainspring and recoil spring, other than the factory set springs, that you would use to carry the Shadow for self defense, regarding reliability? Also with a spring change, would you use an extended firing pin? Again for reliability.

Nice vid, sir. What springs are you running? did you install an aftermarket extended firing pin (for weak ammo)? Waiting for my orange to arrive. Thanks!

Hello Doctor G, I just bought the springs from Eric Grauffel it’s 10lbs for the recoil spring and the hammer spring. The hammer spring also comes with the firing pin spring to prevent a dud. I did not change the firing pin, only the springs. Thank you for the comment and I’m excited for your shadow 2 orange to arrive!

@@jedrivilla4136 wow thanks for the quick response. I got some aftermarket springs from cesar shop so that I can tune it once it arrives. It's good to know that you did not have to use the extended pins with the lighter recoil and main springs. I'm not so sure if I could do much customization on the reloads here (Iloilo) so I guess I have to play around with the springs. LOL

When I got mine my safety was super stiff .

It’s really super stiff from the factory, you need to break in first. Just keep using the safety when shooting and in time it won’t be stiff anymore. Thank you sir for the comment!

It depends on you if you want a softer spring you can do so, but the factory spring is good to go. I changed my springs because I prefer it softer, 10lbs recoil spring and 10lbs hammer spring.
