He might not be the most flashy but he has been blasting for 30 yrs. invented the bom blast in my opinion snare blast with double bass underneath he in my opinion is one of the old greats with Steve Ashiem of Deicide ( my fav drummer) upmost respect

its funny to me how many drummers change their drumset over the years of their career while paul kept the same setup for many many years since the inception of cannibal corpse. yeah he had some minor changes on his kit like the pedals, the drums themselves, cymbals, etc.. the the general setup of his kit hasn't changed a bit besides those minor changes.

Andy YT to be fair his kit layout has changed loads over the last few years. He used to sit very low and his rack toms used to be very high and angled towards him. This looks a much more comfortable set up.

Paul's pretty good at triplet/straight note polyrhythms actually. In a lot of CC songs he plays triplets on the hats/ride but straight notes on the snare/kick in eg. a skank beat. Except here he plays triplets with his feet and straight notes on the hats, as seyho pointed out
