Enjoy it, thats something you will never come across when in Czechia :D We actually speak very quickly. I know this is the case for most languages, but I think it might be a bit of a bigger issue when it comes to czech since there are so many variations of words. Insane grammar + fast speech + dialects... Honestly, ANY foreigner who I meet who can speak and UNDERSTAND czech instantly has my purest respect.

Jako rodilému mluvčímu mi tohle přijde spíš jako C2. :) Každopádně rozhovory jsou opravdu hodně autentické, obraty jako "no nic, tak..." člověk v učebnici nenajde, a přitom jsou pro ty, kdo se učí česky, tak užitečné!

Ja jesm mogl razuměti okolo 90 procentov formalnogo jezyka i slegka gorje razgovornogo jezyka, a ješče togdy jesm iměl smenšiti bystrost filma na 0.75. Ja jesm myslil, že bude velje gorje, ale bylo dost dobro. Velika hvala tobě za tako prěkrasny film :)

To my big surprise I understood much more than had expected even though my level of Czech is still quite low. Maybe because I listen to bands Dymytry, Salieri, and sometimes Traktor. IMHO the real challenge lies in understanding songs lyrics which are often not clearly sung and therefore have to be deduced. I find Salieri's "Zkáza letu 4590" especially difficult. One of their recent compositions "Za okny je vrah" on other hand is a lot easier.

Never heard of them before. Ironically, they have a song "Traktor" while for me it is a band name. I forgot to mention Sarkonia who are from Olomouc. Early MetaLinda are good as well but they are Slovaks from Bratislava.
