Hi Jan - First of all your videos are super helpful, Thanks for sharing the exclusive content. I will be travelling to Prague, CZ tentatively in May 2024, I have my work visa approved. I will be travelling with my family - wife & 1 year old daughter, and their Long-Term Visa is approved as well. I wanted to understand 2 things - 1.) Is my wife eligible to do a job (IT services) in Prague, CZ based on long-term visa? My company mentioned that she will get the residence permit card as well, but mostly after 3 or 4 months of stay, will she become eligible once the residence permit card is made available for her OR we need to apply any other type of work permit for her even after having the residence permit card? 2.) I understand the children under 18 are covered under public health insurance, however, I have received email from Embassy to buy the insurance for my 1 year old daughter till 31/12/2024, the date until which the Visa is approved for her. What should I do in this case, should I buy the insurance? If yes, then how does the state insurance coverage is happening over here.

In the ministry of foreign affairs page about long term resident permit for scientific research purposes, it doesnt say anything about accomadation. I thought I can come there stay with a friend and then find a place but employer doesnt sure about that. and he said I guess your permit needs to be registered to your adress. I am confused about this, At which point should I show an adress. should I show an adress while applying to visa, or after I collected my visa or can I show an adress after coming to Prague.

Depends on what you are exactly applying for. Generally all visa and residence permit applications require you to provide accommodation. It is not requires only in some specific cases so I would need to know more about your case to answer properly.

It is generally not needed there as long as it is part of the hosting agreement/confirmation of taking care of all your expenses.

It is not about nationality but the Embassy in New Delhi. Quota is 0 outside of the governmental programs.
