I brewed my first bohemian pilsner last year used Saaz and I absolutely loved it. Gave it plenty of time to brew and condition ( luckily I have 2 fermentation fridges ) they need time and hugs ( optional ) but didn’t do mine any harm. Yours look lovely nice work cheers 🍻👍

They certainly do need time! I’ve been reading some books about Pilsner brewing and picked up a few things for next time. Can’t beat saaz though, love it!

Get the bohemian pils and some Munich 👌 was it WLP802 you used?

Hi mate. Would be interested in your water profile and what you did to increase malty bready notes but still retain pilsner type.

Hey Mike! I used the Pilsner light lager profile on Brewfather starting with RO water and building it up with brewing salts to match the target

Sorry, didn’t answer your other question. I used melanoidin malt which gives those characteristic flavours, traditionally made using decoction methods but obviously without having to actually do a decoction step.
