I remember having read about that at some point last year, after that perfect game he threw in NPB; as a man from America's Midwest, I cannot truly comprehend the horror Sasaki went through 12 years ago. 😢 That said, for him to become to be the best pitcher right now outside the Major Leagues, not to mention that he got the win today (despite a slow start), is a testament to the human spirit. 💪🏻

I was impressed by the courage of the Czech players. I think it's a great achievement for Czech players to continue playing baseball and participate in the WBC. Especially in the early stages, the Japanese team was forced to struggle by Czech pitchers. @@noahrivera2092 MLB teams can't draft Japanese players because of a mutual agreement between the MLB and NPB. He has to fullfill his 9 years to be a free agent or get permission from the team to be posted early like Ohtani.
