Dude really enjoying your lessons! You should do some stuff from varials latest record, songs like in darkness, bleeding, south of one, etc. even stuff from pain again would be awesome. Songs like anything to numb, eda, colder brother, empire of dirt etc.

how much did those Nueral Dsp plugins cost you? i’m trying to get a decent time without burning a hole in my wallet

They’re not overly expensive compared to other products. But they range from $100-$150 CAD. My favourite is the Nameless Suite, it’s the heaviest out of the bunch, but it’s limited to only rhythm and crunch tones. No fx or mods unless you use 3rd party plugins.

I know they play in that tuning. But I prefer to play it in drop A so you don’t have to detune all the strings.
