The silence and the way they just enjoyed Gigi’s performance 😂. These three ladies are talented but the language barrier and comfort makes a difference and translates to performance. Filipino singers are comfortable singing in english and some like Gigi, KZ and Katrina have the ears to listen well and go ham on their performance.

Sweet voice, but IU doesn’t hold a candle to Gi Gi not a normal Filipino citizen that just sings karaoke. Iv heard plenty of normal everyday Filipinos with a much better voice and musical talent than IU. Filipinos are just on another level. Even African Americans, who are considered the best singers praise Filipino singers.

It's GIGI DE LANA all the way for me!! Her vocal agility and passionate performance were more impactful and affected me more with her beautiful voice compared to IU and ALin who gave a good & decent performance as well! But it was Gigi who brought out the emotions of the song and made me feel things, lol!

Alin’s backup singers stood out to me more than her. It’s difficult for me to listen to Asian singers sing English because their accents always give them away. Filipinos are the only ones that can pass as native speakers when they sing, but they are naturally talented singers as an overall people. They have natural rhythm and sound that East Asians don’t have.

She also has bts clips when she recorded Love Wins All and Holssi. She's a must watch and know artist for real for real

I respect the other 2 singers but hey keeping it real now, Gigi de Lana is next level talent in her rendition of the song. To think she also is going through an illness in the family and yet she’s giving it her all. Filipinos are so into singing in everything they do l, down to sweeping the floors or washing the dishes makes the chore easy when we sing thats why there is a heap of musical talent here that even if they did not go through vocal training they’re like parrots that could mimic the vocal style of a song. Singing had been a way of life here from the get go! ❤ 🎵

This was such a good take and comparison of this classic song. But I'm looking at it in the emotional perspective, IU was 15 at that time and I think that bec she was too young she may not be able to relate with the soul of the song, ALin's vocal is rich and really good and her take on it is like she and her boyfriend had a fight, but Gigi's take has much more raw emotions, it's full of sadness and longing and demanding to get back together. Gigi hands down.
