@@Sapreme In my opinion, i think he also became distracted because he looked to his arrow. I trained archery or 6 months, and when you become easily distracted, you will lose your target.

@@rodolfoopido9417 kyudo is a bit different from common archery, it is focused on performance and execution more than hitting a target. in most cases it is ceremonial and the bows and general purpose are really inconvenient if you want to hit a target dead in the center, it’s not unusual that many arrows just don’t even hit the target because aiming and the control over the arrow are really hard. for example if you do kyudo and you notice that you didn’t pull the bow properly you are not allowed to redraw, you have shoot that arrow no matter what and can only use your chin to try and relocate the arrow a bit. it’s a highly spiritual sport in japan

Probably. But for the archers i think drawing a bow for more than 15 sec is really painful. I'm only a beginner tho and usually don't even has the strength to draw for more than 5 or 8 sec. It's so hard for me :)

@@ayasera_9501 In kyudo tournaments like that in this video,time limit is usually set so that they can proceed with matches smoothly.However,basically elegant slow motion is better in kyudo.

To be honest, I was astonished the others actually hit the target at all. This was the first time in 52 years on this rock that I've seen a zen archer hit a target, and to see several in one video was truly an amazing sight.
