I am impressed her Japanese sounds natural. She has no foreign accent and pronounces every single word clearly and dearly. Plus she is quite charming.

Yup your right, ang galing na nga ni ms. janelle specially when she describe the influence of Japanese culture dto sa pinas at yung mga anime fans.. :D I think ito yung speech competition na sinalihan nya.
It really doesn’t matter whether it’s Japan or Philippines or UK or USA… people who aren’t from a certain place sees it as a better place.. sometimes the ideal place. Just like in the speech, as simple as having 4 seasons is sometimes enough for a person who grew up in a tropical country to say.. this is the perfect place.. same applies if you flip it up. But the truth is, there’s positives and negatives EVERYWHERE. So I totally get it when Japanese say “too idealistic” or “it’s embarrassing coz Japan is not perfect”. But personally I think what’s more important is to try our best to choose to see the positives rather than the bad things.. and that’s what Janelle has done. Growing up she saw Japan through anime and mangas.. then she get to live there and saw the bad side of it as well.. but here she is talking about how awesome Japan is 😁
