I am Austrian, but still I don't understand everything because it's not my dialect. But as an example, I can try to translate a few verses: 1. "Abersee liegt im Toe Do sog I ollemoe San scheine Meinscha drei Jo do mecht i sei." German: Abersee liegt im Tal Da sag ich allemal Es sind schöne Mädchen drin (hier) Ja, da möchte ich sein. English: Abersee lies in the valley There i say certainly There are pretty girls here That's where I want to be. 2. (Of that one I don't understand enough, honestly...) 3. "Buama stehts zaum in Kroas I sog eing, wos i woas Gennts (?) eing a Pfeiferl au Wer's rauka kau." Buben, stellt euch zusammen im Kreis Ich sage euch, was ich weiß Gönnt euch eine Pfeife Wer sie rauchen kann. Boys, gather in a circle I tell you what I know, Allow yourself a pipe Those who can smoke it. 4. "Fuat in da Fria, hoam auf d'Nocht So hot's mei Voda gmocht Fuat auf d'Nocht, hoam in da Fria So mochan's mia!" Fort am Morgen, heim am Abend So machte es mein Vater Fort am Abend, heim am Morgen So machen wir es! The last one is my favourite ;) Of course it's not really possible to translate it idiomatically, but maybe you get a slight idea... Its basically about enjoying life - beautiful landscape, women, dance, alcohol, tobacco... that's it!

Danke für die Antwort. Fairer Kommentar, die Videos auf diesem Kanal werden normalerweise als Teil einer Wiedergabeliste mit Songs aus einer bestimmten Region hochgeladen und haben denselben Kulisse. Im Nachhinein hätte vielleicht ein anderes Bild besser zu dieser Wiedergabeliste gepasst, obwohl es immer noch schwierig wäre, eines zu finden, das zu jedem Song passt. :)
