Great work - you have a treasure trove on your KZbin channel now with all these string comparison videos :)

similar tension? low tension maestrale vs ej45? with feel hard?

Maestrale are quite hard. Harder than EJ45, very stiff trebles too.

finally a good set of guitar string comparisons. This Dogal blue maestral is for people who have a lot of tracks in listening to music. I was thinking of replacing the EJ45 with an EJ43 because of less tension. How would that sound?

If I understand correctly you want to go to EJ43. Expect a little less volume but easier playing and clearer sound in a way, as they have less bass than the EJ45.

@@andreaskikinas I would like to keep the E-6 string EJ45, but my hands are too weak to successfully do barre grips at higher frets, so I would like to hear your comparison with the EJ43?

@@mehoollulic I do not have a comparison video with the EJ43, sorry. They are very nice strings though. Try them and see. If you feel the EJ45 hard on your guitar you can also try the La Bella 427 or the Augustine classic black that are both easier sets like the EJ43. One more thing, if the guitar gets very hard on higher frets it might mean that the neck is warped. A guitar technician or a luthier can check it for you. You can also make the guitar easier by sanding down the saddle of the bridge, making the string action lower.

@@andreaskikinasThe guitar is not hard at 7.8..threshold, but I'm at the age when arthritis starts to take away the strength of my fingers, so I'm looking for the best set of low tension strings. EJ43 is the easiest for me to get because I have no doubts about Daddario

I had ej43 once. Nice strings. My experience was that it has a larger volume compare to ej45, possibly because under the same force they deflect more hence larger vibration amplitudes. When I first put them on, some strings feel louder than others and it felt not as balanced as ej45, but I later adjusted by right hand to balance the output. Nice timber. Only minor issue is that because the strings are softer, they tend to be slightly out of tune when pressed hard.
