Thank you! I agree with you 100% about the Chromes and EB Cobalt Flats (love the EB Groups though). Put ENR1 Half Rounds on a Stingray for a finger funk project (record well and sit in the pocket live with some cut) and they were perfect. I made the choice as half-rounds were used on the Ray that Bernard Edwards used in early Chic recordings (by most accounts as he said he used whatever strings came on the Ray -. GHS Brite Flats - which I detest) - so this is a nice sub IMO. People hate them and I glad I didn't listen. - hope they don't get too popular because trends sent prices up. Might try on my P when its time.

I'm glad you enjoyed them! I should get another set for my ray 🤔

Appreciate the video. Definitely going to give them a try. Do you have a preference on string gauge?
@floofthebassplayer9 ай бұрын
Yea, I like a lighter bottom and a heavier top end in my strings. I like 45-100 the most so these being the basic gauge for the string was pretty rad!

Those sound great! I was wondering what your rig was. It sounds like at times you are using SVT software?
@floofthebassplayer9 ай бұрын
Nope, this is straight in and just into Ableton. No EQ, comp or any post production, as a matter of fact the only thing on the track is a built in tuner so that way the bass is vaguely in tune when I do these lmao.

I am also curious how eating chicken effects the tone?
@floofthebassplayer9 ай бұрын
Now THAT'S a good question! If Toan is in the hands, the if I put chicken in my hands I can put the Toan in the grease and therefore sound better.
