I have a "banjomer" my mom gave me and I am trying to figure out how to properly string it.

Do the 12s go on the bottom of the neck? Like a guitar would have the B and E strings on the bottom?

Your banjomer should have the 12s closest to you. The bass string is further from you. Then you have the medium string and the two 12 strings will be closest to you because those 2 strings are your melody string
