Hi Caleb - The cable is specially designed diameter for these plugs, you will need to use D'Addario cable. The cable and plugs can be bought individually also.

don't know if anyone is still reading these, but they really are just THAT simple. These need to be the standard going forward, just so easy to repair too! my cable went bad and all I did was unscrew it, yank it out of the jack, then cut the broken section off, jam it back in and screwed it back. Worked like it was brand new!
