Every game is a must win from here on out.. we need to be starting pitchers who give us the best chance to win.. Verlander isn't one of them.. I have always liked Justin, but he isn't what he used to be.. I knew he was going to get hammered tonight, but I didn't think it was going to be a bad as it was.. and he has at least 3 more starts to go... that's what pisses me off about it
@martyklestadt6766Ай бұрын
Every game is a must win? We've got a 4.5 game lead in the division. And Verlander can use those 3 or 4 starts to get his mechanics right...I hope.
@WesleyP1975Ай бұрын
@martyklestadt6766 Look how the Astro's caught and passed the mariners in a short span of games. Who's to say the Mariners can't do the same to the Astros. If mechanics is the problem, he needs to be sent down to the minors to work on it, like they do every other player who is struggling... but since his name is Verlander and is a first ballot hall of famer, you get special treatment. I know he is trying to reach 300 wins before he retire, but putting your own acalades ahead of the team trying to win the division and the playoffs is selfish. every game is a must win. There are less than 20 games left in the regular season and they are all important and we need to try and win them all to stay in front of the Mariners.. don't get me wrong, I love Verlander and what he has done for this team but something ain't right, and trading wins for getting Verlanders mechanics right shouldn't happen.
