Definitely gotta tip my cap to the Diamondbacks in this one. They did EVERYTHING in their power to win this game and ended up putting on a pure baseball clinic in their eventual rout of the Dodgers. And Christian Walker, WOW! He's been a known "Dodger Killer" for years, but tonight he really let it be heard around MLB that if ANY team feels they'll end up facing the Blue Crew in a possible playoff/WS matchup this season they better take a nice LONG look at him as a 'must-have' trade deadline acquisition by the end of this month. I'm not kidding, either! Ought to be a very fun 4th Of July game tomorrow between these two heated NL West rivals, can hardly wait. GO DODGERS!!! 💙⚾💙

I’m a Backs fan but watch a lot of Dodgers games with my Grandpa because he’s a fan of em. All toxicity aside, their pitching isn’t even that bad. Their main issue is that they throw in the towel way too easily. They get their lead in one of the first 3 innings, then they go into a mindset of “trying not to lose” instead of “trying to win”. Robert’s is also a very lazy manager that refuses to strategize in a game.

They do this very often actually. After they get an early lead, they just think they can coast the whole way through with Hollywood pop flies. And then when the game is tied, I’d say 7 out of ten times they give up. If the other team takes the lead, they’ll pretty much throw the rest of the game. Once in a while they’ll make a 7 run comeback, which is cool and all, but not sustainable come play off time. No heart what so ever outside of Shohei. I’d go as far to say that the Dodgers are a testament to man’s arrogance.
