To me, the only thing DD Crew had going for it was its late '80s/early '90s rap/hip-hop soundtrack and detailed 2D graphics. Beyond that, I find everything about this game awful. Also, this is the only video game I've ever seen to unofficially have Sean Connery as a stereotypical martial-arts master in it. Good playthrough.

It's like they forgot to make sprites for an idle pose, so they just used the first sprite of his throwing animation. Unfortunately, this makes him look like a haunted house prop waiting to jump at you.
