Man, my hardest problem with this deck and most decks in yugioh is the siding. Would be super cool if you went over what you side in and out vs the meta decks!

Haven’t been running map or small world, just one for one is enough, rather max out on imperm veiler ash and nib. Baronne doesn’t really come up much and in instances when she’s good I’m already usually winning, Kali Yuga has been a goat this format against stuff like Lab, plenty of level 8s from Rag, Thomas, High Ghengis, Siegfried so I go into him quite a bit more to push for games without interruption. As for side, I been trying out dark contract with errors and it’s been really nice into traptrix and labrynth to shut down all their traps and keep yours activate along with eternal darkness of course. I have a similar build but instead of going for the piri reis, I went with for triple tactics talent because it's decent going first if they ash kepler or dark contract and going second is an instant arise-heart steal for the zeus. Also went for 2 zeus by cutting the d'arc in order to really have a good kashtira match-up. I went for 3 ash instead of 3 evenly but I think both options are valid. I cut one for one just because I wanted the cards count to be lower and I wanted to draw into my good cards. I never thought of the kaiju tech but I just added it!

Personally I’d never cut one for one, being able to special Kepler is one of the best ways to make baronne for the deck

Not great. Just play talents. I think the card is good in a deck like branded as they play a lot of power spells

Can anyone help me answer a question. It’s the standby phase, I destroy Copernicus in the pendulum zone to avoid effect damage. Can I use Machinex’s monster effect to place him in the pendulum zone that is now free? I’ve always been unsure about the standby phase.

Hi JackYGO I saw you play against ygopaisano in Grandmaster Games love that matchup. Ah I have a question what you think of piri reis map like should play it. I play now small world over piri cause I hate that I pay half life and then you need to pay 2000 more for Gilgamesh and Ragnarok to do the full combo and by that time they can kill you with that low life point so idk should I play it or not?

I have one question on little ceasars effect when detaching. It specials as many monsters from your grave as the number of monsters that got destroyed during the turn (I think that opponents monsters count as well). But in master duel the effect seems to only special the exact monsters that got destroyed. Just want to know if my interpretation of his effect is correct or if I am missing sth.

“Your grave” it reborns your destroyed monsters that are sent to your grave and are still there at the end of the battle phase

Hey bud. Anything that will be sent to YOUR graveyard will be revived. A cool interaction to keep in mind is that if you Kaiju someone and you destroy it, it will return to your field

@@jackedygo797 It is unlikely but definitely worth keeping in mind of course, say for this list you return Radian from grave to field you can use it with lamia for Siegfried or potentially baronne if you have a swirl/lvl 2 available, even PEP with orthros if you run it. In most instances little Caesar’s effect is actually used you’d probably target other monsters though, at least imo.

Thx for the reply! I am aware that it specials my monsters from my grave but the amount of monsters destroyed during the turn are not restricted to only my destroyed monsters. For example, I pitch abyss ragnarok with dark contract of the witch and destroy one opponents monster and destroy my marksman with orthros' pendulum effect. So two monsters got destroyed during the turn. Can I special abyss ragnarok and marksman from my grave with little caesars effect?

Caesars effect is worded this way: "detach 1 mat; at the end of the battle phase, special summon from your graveyard as many monsters destroyed during the turn as possible,..."

Baronne pop, ragnarok banish effect, the kaijus, and depending on size of token you can use gryphon scale effect to boost attack points

Yes, that’s exactly what I do in my build. Just swap the handtraps for the ones that are most impactful for the format

You are not putting 2 level 8s on the board on a consistent basis, and the extra deck is already too tight as is.

@@e-tan3911 Gryphon can help by searching Vice Requiem. Either way, drawing Trap Trick or Wonder XYZ is not that consistent. Plus, it removes 6 Deck Slots. But, it is fun though, summoning Kali Yuga during your opponent's turn can drop some jaws.

I've tried it, honestly not a good plan. There are so many scenarios where running a second Orthros comes up that running any less than 2 simply locks you out of so many lines, ESPECIALLY when you have Baronne.

@@e-tan3911 but dont you want the baronne only going first, and only that when you go for baronne sometimes we end with no baronne at all i would say 5/10 times

@@UmDevoto 1. You almost always wanna go first. 2. Orthros serves as both a decent extender and Siegfried access in hand, so it's almost never a brick. 3. Even going second Orthos's backrow popping effect is great for getting rid of floodgates like skill drain, so it is rarely not useful utility. Only running 1 makes it harder to get access to Orthros when you actually need it. It's a strong card for the deck. Also in a format where Nibiru is mained by a lot of players, you want to make Barronne as often as possible. Orthros helps facilitate that.

seems like the correct approach, but map and small world feels so negi, generally i dont like decks that relys o these cards. i hope one day we get a generic engine like tenyi, sth that will lead to ddd engine without ddd crds

Yeah I don’t like running map or small world, it’s pretty easy to open with a starter just run one for one, even two dd making Gigamesh is your main goal anyways and go off from there. I rather play more handtraps imo

@@Bllackmage vice requiem is always a staple in my build as 1x, necro I think is one of, two can clog, and allure banish does hurt. Getting two level 4’s is actually pretty easy if you know the different lines. A good one if you only have one level 4 is setting gryphon and Thomas to your scales from gilgmesh(Copernicus and any other level but 4 dd or ddd), pend out copernicus, gryphon to destroy gain 500(you need a gate somewhere field or gy) and Thomas to add back to hand to special summon.

This DDD list is very predictable. DDD must be unpredictable! Go back to the origins! DDD does not need to play with handtraps. D/D/D is a combo with a field that is difficult to pass and that makes otk on the way back.

you can also try dark contract with errors as side since labyrinth and traptrix are capable in this format, is basically using the royal decree of the deck and is searchable.
