I've got all the DVDs now but this is Venger death I remember most from watching it when I was 5. I love the scene where Shadow Demon makes a hasty exit. I think Uni's voice was a stroke of genius.

Dungeon Master is clearly just doing the whole thing for amusement, making the kids fall just short of grasping their ticket home on a weekly basis.

As an FYI, Peter Cullen is the voice actor for Venger, as well as Optimus Prime, Ironhide (contrived Southern accent) and narrator for Voltron. I think he also did Colonel Harkins for Voltron, 2nd season.

SIDE QUESTION: What would people call the smoke/ fog / images Venger comes back as when he's defeated by the young ones? (see 4.44 -5.04 in this episode for an example). P.S. Whatever they're called that the one here is my fav!!!!

Can anyone tell me why the music during when Venger is defeated is different? I have this taped years ago and the music is certainly different to the one here (and less powerful instrumentally) than the version I had. The music in this version here just doesn't feel right. Is this the original version, or has it been changed for the DVD release? I have a feeling it's been re-mixed and changed for DVD, which is ashame has the one I remember was great.
