Pretty dragon. Silver Dragons always remind me of Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke. It was one of my favorite books growing up.

I definitely prefer your design over the official, though I've never been totally thrilled by most of the official designs. Many of them always felt awkward and made different for the sake of being different rather than playing on the unique powers and habitats that they exist in. With your silver, I feel like it's actually regal, which many metallic dragons like to be in my opinion, so they feel more appropriate. Then again, I also admit a bias towards your beautiful art style lol. Either way, definitely love this.

Thank you!!! In the 2024 dragon PDF there’s *some* mention of how they interact with their habitats but it’s pretty minimal. And as for what the dragons are in DnD-special enemies or allies-I get why they lean more toward uniqueness. It would be cool to see them come out with like a “dragon biology” book for the new designs though

The new silver dragon feels like they wanted to lean into the bulkiness of its features. Looks really blocky. I would have liked if they leaned into making it more graceful, but, oh well. ALSO, feathers YES. Love feathered dragons
