Any word on a part two? Back a year later and this is STILL an incredible resource. I'd love to see it expanded upon.

I'll be following this series religiously. Well out of college with my design degree, and you explained Character, Paragraph, Table Styles better than any of my professors did. Thank you so much.

Found this while prepping to move my book from GMBinder to Indesign. absolutely amazing. Saves the 360page document from so much work.

Bravo man, followed your video step-by-step. Took a few hours, but got it done. Can't wait to see Part 2 and how you tackle statblocks and the table of contents! Thank you for this!!!

This is great. Super helpful, targeted instruction. Two years on, I'm sure there are reasons you haven't done the stat block video, but I would be interested in that.

They changed the format on the statblocks immediately after this, and have done so again for D&D 2024. I'm not currently allowed to show how to replicate the look until 9/17

I'm polishing and renewing my indesign skills for both hobby 5e content and work matters. I'm really understanding and learning a lot with your tutorial!! And makes me excited for what i can create now. I would love to know if you're planning on picking up again this series, or if you have them uploaded somewhere else to continue with this design compendium 👀

Awesome video with clear instructions, really congrats! It took me a bit to get used to Indesign first, but managed to complete the tutorial by slowly following along with the video and the PDF. I don't know if this was already answered, but when the second part will be release?

They changed the Trade Dress really soon after this, then did it again in the next book. As of Book of Many Things, they're making significant changes to Spell name formatting in body text. I decided against a part 2 because in the time it took me to come up with a reliable, replicable way to do the 5e statblocks--they made changes.

man, i know this is old but character style isn't an option in indesign anymore. am I missing it? every article i find says how to reload your character styles from the character style tab but not where the tab disappeared to lol
@MichaelHarrison37 Жыл бұрын
It's probably just not in your Workspace. Add it by going to Window > Styles > Character Styles.
@HavokmkrStudio Жыл бұрын
@@MichaelHarrison37 Thanks. Will remember this. I went with..sigh...google docs for a playable beta copy for the moment. After Gencon, i will purchase indesign (not trial) and give it a go
