D-Day Never Looked So Realistic...

In this Call Of Duty WW2 Gameplay video, I play the very first mission which is the D-Day landing at Normandy. Video games have come so far since I first played a variation of this in Medal Of Honor Allied Assault, but has it become way too realistic?

Looks pretty real to me but yeah I get what you mean... No idea what what it was actually like though. I believe a Vet did say that Saving Private Ryan got it pretty close though. Except for the noise, can't really replicate the deafening sound of battle in a theatre can you?!
