I really really really wish you guys would make something similar but enabling Bluetooth so you can use the BTair with any light fixtures. Seriously, the app is super slick but only a few chauvet lights take advantage of it.

Hi If i want to simply master slave with my master running a built in program! Will these still work ? as I'm a mobile DJ who does not do DMX and prefere quick clean setups so this is why i need to reduce my cabling Donner do seem to do this but do these unit do this too? thanks anyone .

I'm getting lag from one set of receivers to another. Also getting a great deal of interference, and this is in a 500 sqft studio space. Not sure if I'm comfortable using these in a real event space. IS there a position these should be oriented for increased coverage like most antennas?

The Donner units are $34/ea while the Chauvet version is $49/ea. For the extra $15 you're getting a device with a 2-year warranty, electrically tested and approved by CE, a UL-approved external power supply, compatibility with all DFI devices within the Chauvet lineup, compatibility with a drop-in multi-charger without the need for a cable to recharge, a 10-hr run time (compared to their 4 hours), and a wider range of wireless channels (16 vs 7). I think that's well-worth $15, but you can make the final decision.

Plus. The build quality of these are unmatched. The donners don’t stack up with functionality and overall build. Plus, the frequency range of the donner is much more likely to catch interference

I got 16 feet of truss and then I was going to put intimidators on totems on each side of the truss would I be able to master/slave the units with these?

You can put a transmitter in one and receiver in another light if you’re DMXing your master light.

Master/slave and DMX are 2 different control options and cannot be used together.

You can, but be warned the battery only has a warranty for 6 months, then you can get Chauvet to fit new battery if you can afford it, or dump and buy a new one.

@@reissallan i ordered 3 and found out. I have 2 universe. 1 for moving heads and 1 for uplighting. Seems to be slower than donner. I only played with it for a few moments.

How high is the transmitter? etc, etc Too many tests to conduct via social media. Donner works the same and is WAY cheaper, I use the wired ones as I DO NOT TRUST battery gear.

It’s not way cheaper. It’s $15 difference per unit. Plus these are much easier to use with physical buttons. No need to carry around a pin to push buttons inside the donners. Plus they have a better frequency range to prevent interference.

Do not buy no warranty on battery life mine only lasted 8 months replacement by Chauvet cost a fortune.
