These were really good matches. Everyone bowled so well. Kaya is my favorite lady bowler from Japan. Not only does she throw a really strong ball, but she is incredibly tough mentally. I've watched her step up in many big matches and rarely does she not come through. Her opponent was bowling tremendously, matching Kaya strike for strike, until the disastrous 4 pin split which resulted from her only poorly thrown ball of the match. But Kaya was more consistent and came out on top at the end. It was unusual to see both ladies crying at the end, one for winning, one for crying. This is not something you see in the West, in the PWBA.

Las lágrimas y el rostro de Kaya son espontáneas expresiones de su felicidad !! Que hermosa se vió !! Kana; tu sigues siendo aún mi ídolina, fueron dos tiros malos la diferencia !! Felicidades a las dos !!
Who would you choose to win? A bowler with good form but, bad mental game, or a bowler with bad form but, good mental game?

Good form and good mental is the basic thing to be a great bowler👍

Congrats to the bowlers! Excellent games bowled! Kaya has won many times because of her strong mental game! She's not a power ball hooker, but she's going to hook no matter what! Hookers hardly pull the ball! Kana has such excellent mechanics, but her mental game is very weak! So many times she's made mistakes that cost her win! She can hook the ball, but I see her hook one frame then throw straight the next frame! To throw straight, you have be accurate every time. Manon is a power bowler! Excellent mechanics, but mistakes have cost her too! I enjoy watching these 3 bowlers set the trend in today's bowling world of Japan! They'll be on the podium many more times like Urara has set a few years ago! If you want to win, strengthen your mental game! Aloha

I was able to predict the result of the final match after watching the first few frames. It was clear to me that Shimoide's ball was reading too early and eventually she'd end up with a split on the left lane. I believe her weakness was not predicting the transition of the lane condition. Sakamoto was in a better spot for the conditions and by minimizing mistakes she was able secure victory. During practice balls I saw Shimoide throw a ball that looked like it would get through the front better. I would have liked to see her switch balls on the left lane after the split.
