Hi Judi. Thank you for this tutorial. I constantly scour the internet looking for designers/creators/crafters who can help me frankenplan and as cheap as I can do it. I’ve never heard of Canva. I can only assume you use the paid app that has more tools? I know I would, but since I’m just starting out with doing it at home, I don’t want to spend a lot on items I won’t get my money’s worth. I already have a laminator that’s been sitting in the unopened box for two years in my craft closet 😂. Hubby has NO IDEA…..I’ve had good intentions. I guess I just want someone to “hold my hand” through it together so I don’t feel so bad messing up. 😂 Anyway, thank you for building my confidence. I’ll take the leap soon enough.

Did you do the extra lamination layer on the tab because you didn't feel that the one layer of laminating the whole divider was stiff enough?

I didn't do extra - just the one layer since I printed it myself on normal cardstock.

I don't know anything about that punch, but as I'm watching I'm thinking.... Couldn't you have put the 5 mil laminate on top of another sheet of paper or cardstock and punched both out together, to combat the flimsiness?

Great idea but unfortunately it didn't still work even though it seems like it should! I think the die just isn't sharp enough to go through the laminate and the plastic dulls it fast.

Not everyone has a printer that prints on the back side. Pay attention to how YOUR printer prints.

I had bought the punch and found it didn't work very well at all. It would punch paper, sort of, but not card stock. Hadn't thought of using the clear stickers alone.
