Destiny Days I tried make a moon on my wrist. You can see the outline if you’re up close. But there’s only 6 visible dots. Sterilized with alcohol and whipes and used a needle. Did it a year ago. No infection.

Here’s some tips to actually be safer- 1- instead of soap and water, clean and shave the place where you are gonna put it, then use isopropyl Alcohol to sterilize it. 2- for the needle, use the lighter to sterilize, then wipe down with alcohol pad. Soak alcohol in alcohol, put on needle, and then wipe with a new pad again. 3- DONT use Vaseline. That shit will give you a bad infection. Use neosporin AFTER the tat is done. 4- press down on skin till you feel a slight “pop” then remove needle. 5- after your done with it, apply tattoo healing cream, wash that bitch with scent free soap everyday, make sure to put ur healing cream on and lotion that bitch up with non-scented lotion. 6- do your first round, then wait a week or so to do the second round, so on and so forth till it’s completed. Believe me- this helps.

I'm no tattoo artist but this is definitely the wrong way to do this. You don't sterilize some random needle with your lighter... you need to buy sterilized tattoo needles. Honestly it's not that expensive, but it is way safer, the tattoo will look better and won't fade away as much. Plus he is poking too deep. You should poke gently and with an angle. If you chose to do a stick and poke, definitely educate yourself better than by just watching this video Be safe :)

Actually if you get a sterilized needle, and actual tattoo ink or india ink, there's no way you can get an infection unless you didnt sterilize the needle, your arm, or you didnt get a safe ink. This is the same as a real tattoo, just not as deep, the tattoo artist uses a machine that has a needle inside of it with automatic refreshing ink to refill the cartridge, it pricks deep into your skin which is why some people bleed, you would be just as likely to get an infection by a professional as this method, if neither artist is safe. Get your facts together guys

Not saying this isn't dangerous, but I have 3 stick n poke tattoos and have had them for a couple of years. none of them ever got infected or gave me any troubles. I don't regret them and if I do in the next couple of years,, whoops, I mean I have professional tattoos as well but I can almost guarantee that I will love them unconditionally until the day I die. This isn't going to kill you if you know common sense. But yes there are indeed better ways to do stick and poke tattoos,, personally this is a very unnecessary video honesty,, but Do what you think is right and make the best choices for yourself. Any tattoo has risks. You're literally tearing your skin open to stick ink underneath so it'll look cool when it heals. However, if you get a tattoo by an artist who's trained for years on how give good tattoos with nice, properly cleaned equipment, the chances of damaging your skin or health are much, much, much lower than gettung one by some kid with a needle and hydrogen peroxide

Drawing is way different from tattooing. I like to think I can draw well but I did a smiley stick and poke on my arm and an anarchy symbol on my leg.
