I’d take him over Allen or Williams any day. Everyone was enamored with those two, but they offered no speed or big play ability . Part of the reason Herbert has had the one of the lowest air yards per play throw his career.

And people were so concerned that the Chargers didn't pick Nabors with their #1. McConkey, Chark, Parham, Palmer, Johnson, Rice, and "Sproles like Vidal" out of the backfield. I'm not worried. Chark is a proven all-pro, McConkey has great hands, better speed and running ability than K. Allen (and is 10 years younger) and what if Rice is only half as good as his Pa? When they are not running Dobbins, Edwards, and Vidal, Herbert will feast on defenses with these guys in the passing game.
