You talk about the innovation of the farmer i stand to be corrected I think it was a Portglenone farmer came up with the idea of the automatic back door for the silage trailor when he bought himself a new fraser in kilrea years back and didn't think of patents on it

Great job..👍Most contractors over the years spent quite times of the years in the workshop making/modifying machinery. Nearly all trailers were home made at one stage and it was rare to have a piece of machinery that wasn't tweaked in some way. Money prob wasn't as plentiful as it may be now. It has nearly come around to that again now with the price of machinery driving lads to put the thinking cap on and take out the welder.Great satisfaction to see something one has built themselves working well..

Famer down the road from home is building similar for his umbilical. It's Isuzu truck engine powered with it's original manual transmission and remote controlled with a remotely activated compressor run off the same engine
