I've heard the drums were sometimes sampled onto the sp1200 from early rap songs (like from Rodney O& Joe Cooley: Cooley High, Everlasting Bass and DJs & MCs)

@@N1t3m4r4 Hard to say, but Squeeky has used a 660 on his early volumes (6&7 atleast, and some tracks on GH 1-2). Maybe he sampled the 808 bass from the dr660.
