दीक्षा के बाद जरुरी नियम || After Initiation Important Points || Prashant Mukund Prabhu
Initiation is very important.
Engaging consistently in Vaishnav service leads to self-attainment of Guru Diksha.
The day one completely surrenders to the guru, that day they receive initiation.
The desire to honor a devotee should exceed the desire to be honored.
A devotee should be free from the feeling of jealousy.
Gain, loss, birth, death, fame, and infamy are all in the hands of the Lord.
A devotee should be skilled in service.
A devotee should be free from attachment. The mind, body, and home all belong to Krishna.
A devotee should be firm.
A devotee should strive to make others pure devotees.
A devotee should not be discouraged in sorrow and should not be arrogant in happiness.
A devotee should be steadfast in following regulations.
By staying in the shelter of the guru, it seems that there is no ego left in us. But when the guru is absent, it becomes evident that we are filled with ego.
A devotee should be proficient in singing bhajans.
A devotee should read scriptures only with the guru's permission.
A devotee should always remain in contact with the guru.
A devotee should always avoid the temptations of Maya.
A devotee should have devotee friends in their life with whom there is less gossip and more devotion.
A devotee should continuously preach about Lord Krishna.
Eating alone leaves one here, sharing and eating together leads to Vaikuntha.
One who does not preach after receiving Krishna's knowledge becomes hardened, but preaching makes the heart pure.
A devotee should show equal respect to all devotees.
A preacher should not be a guru follower, but should distribute Prabhupada's teachings equally to everyone.
If someone's philosophy is wrong, it should be criticized, but never criticize an individual.
Guru's order should be taken as prasadam.
Contemplate deeply on whatever knowledge the guru gives, understand it thoroughly, and then implement it in practice.
One should listen to and read about the life stories of Acharyas and devotees.
To increase knowledge, always listen to Prabhupada's discourse on a topic first, then listen to the initiating guru's discourse on that same topic, then listen to the discourse of the Shiksha guru on that topic, finally read about that topic in scriptures, then you can narrate to others with intelligence.
A devotee should renounce bad company.
Those who come quickly to devotion also leave it quickly.
The result of initiation is an increase in interest in chanting the holy name.
The day one's interest in chanting increases is the day their initiation happens automatically.
A devotee never criticizes anyone.
Shri Hari is the supreme reality, and no one is equal to Him.
Lord Krishna is all-powerful.
Lord Krishna is the ocean of all divine mellows.
All living beings are various parts of Shri Hari.
If we see faults in others, we should understand that the fault is in me for not being able to see Lord Hari in them.
To scare an atheistic non-devotee, you can show anger.
Even if someone has chanted the name of Krishna once, they should be considered a devotee.
We should have equal vision towards living beings, nature, and God, but not equate them.
Pure devotion is the path.
We must depend on grace, but we also have to make efforts.
Grace is not obtained without efforts.
