Not true depending on what you enjoy doing. There are many free places to go in Singapore - some free museums, parks/gardens, nature reserves etc. low cost places to eat like hawker centers. If you like places which cost a lot of money like high end restaurants, hotels, luxury goods shopping, night clubs etc then you can do that almost anywhere in the world, don’t need to come to Singapore.

Welcome back to SG! Hope you will enjoy and see what you missed when you were not here.😊
Know you are coming over soon so WELCOME back to Singapore. Hope you and your family enjoy yourselves thoroughly. It's been really warm so please remember to drink lots of water, find shade and get enough rest🙏
She is expecting everything in Singapore is meant to be convenience for China tourists only.

新加坡的美食可是“a meal for every budget"。她要真那么高级,新加坡有的高级餐厅可多了。
I've followed many of your videos. Always enjoyed them and have this opinion that you have a broad minded, analytical and impartial mindset. That lady who condemned Singapore obviously has a biased mindset, expecting everyone to.comform to her warped thinking. To us, it's just good riddance to bad rubbish!
China also don't accept VISA and Master card. VISA and Master are accept in most country.

Ya it’s still not very convenient for foreigners visiting China. And why should all other countries always need to cater to the Chinese tourists?

?? I was a frequent visitor to Guangzhou and surrounding cities many years back. They do accept VISA/MasterCard. Or have things changed?

@@yau6629I visited Yunnan in Mar this year. Visa and Mastercards are accepted but not at all places and there was an additional 3% fee though. Alipay sometimes worked sometimes didn’t. Not as global friendly yet like other countries.

@@jooquah798 China has the largest number of visitors touring other countries. Nobody wants to lose out a big piece of this pie. It's economic sense.
Lao pa sat is also a common place for lunch and dinner for people working around. Being a food court, it offers a variety of food choices. This makes it a great place to eat together with your colleagues. At night, it is still a pleasant place to eat dinner with family. The atmosphere is not too bad despite being pricey. The food may not be the best (price and taste) but it’s the variety that allows groups to hangout and have meals together.

爱怎么说就怎么说.... true blue well travelled singaporeans say ' Let it Be'
Usually locals who patronize Lau Pa Sat are office workers during lunch break. As for dinner would eat at other hawker centers / coffee shops near home.

Singapore not accept Alipay or other payment because Singapore don't have fake currency. The mrt card able to refund the deposit. Singapore have to advance the travel visa

Welcome back to SG Mr James ❤ . Visit Hock Hai hawker centre for curry noodle 🤤 level 1 or 2 both 👍
Lau Pa Sat used to cater to office workers in the surrounding commercial offices in the early days. I can't remember the actual year, but after the renovation and refurbish, and satay club (only open at night) moved to that area, Lau Pa Sat at night is now mostly catered to tourists.
@Slla-th5vt23 күн бұрын
If you actually did go Lau Pa Sat. You can see there are many locals having dinner there as well.

I just went Lau Pa Sat 2 days ago. We only eat satay (chicken and mutton is nice), char kuay teow, chai tao kuay (black or white one), Hokkien Prawn Noodle, Chendol (dessert). Many people working at shenton way eat at Lau Pa Sat during lunch, so avoid lunch crowd. Honestly only tourist go Lau Pasat eat the Grill Prawn or Grill fish, expensive and nothing special. A good place to eat is East coast park hawker center (it's by the sea, sea good night walk after dinner), Satay by the Bay (near garden by the bay), Maxwell Market, China Town Complex 2nd floor (must try Hawker Chan Char Siew). Yezi you are right, go to any hawker center, you see a long queue, it means the food is popular among local.

Yes, I had satay before at the food center in East Coast Park. It was nice!

It's true that due to Singapore weather, it could be quite uncomfortable to walk during daytime. What i would suggest is during daytime, you could spend more time indoors like visiting museums and aquarium(aka air conditioned areas). Then after 5.30pm, you could start planning outdoor activities like cycling along east coast park, visit zoos, walk around chinatown. It really depends how you plan your itinerary
Hope you have an enjoyable stay in Singapore. There are indeed some local brands (fashion, etc.) I had bought a briefcase, locally made. It is personal view whether a city/country is boring or otherwise. I can enjoy a good restaurant meal in Singapore or equally a low cost hawker style food.

The first lady said that food in Singapore is expensive... She thought that expenses in Southeast Asian countries should all be cheap.
