For me the energy was actually his strong point because it was slightly ironic. Dilip notorious troll and he kept the character without being too much. Him keeping his sunglasses, casually dropping the sickest beats while scratching his head and memeing the « bass and whistle at the same time » showed tons of confidence and charisma
