I can actually attend to the neck hypertrophy affecting your bass frequencies - my neck grew 3 inches in diameter since I started training (most of which happened in the last year because I was spamming zercher stuff - recently worked up to 280kg zercher hold). I've been beatboxing for 4+ years and I think the biggest improvement in my vocal basses happened right around when my neck became bigger

Something I really like about Remix is that he's an expert inward bass user like Inertia and Vocodah, but he's also EXTREMELY consistent with his beats and brings a level of technicality that I don't see much of from the other two in recent events. While inward bass is a staple of his style, I don't feel like he's restricted to just doing inward bass in battles in the same way that the other two inward bass gods are. In the Haten battle, both Vocodah and Inertia's performances seemed inconsistent to me in ways that Remix's just doesn't. Not that they were bad and not that I could do better (I'm huge fans of both) - it's just that I feel that they weren't as clean/the timing wasn't as good as they could've been. Every time I've seen Remix battle, he's been consistent, strong, and skilled. His beats may not be the most original in the beatbox scene, but they're certainly crowd pleasers. He really has a TON of potential, and even if he doesn't win this year's GBB, he's gonna win GBB at some point - mark my words!

Imo the first 35 seconds of Zero`s second round killed himself, doing such a Long and extremely simple introduction that takes up more than 35% of your round gives me a feeling he underestimated Remix, because if he mixed the beats he did after throughout the whole 1:30 round it would feel more balanced and less wasted. Remix used about 100% of his both rounds creating more value for himself as well as bringing more energy than Zero
