@@annie.g9142其实kl 真的不便宜。我work from home, 没吃早餐的习惯一个月都花RM1500-2000在餐饮。Shima family 四个人RM8000都属于正常。现在随便去有普普通通冷气地方消费都RM20-30，没有冷气茶餐食都RM15。随便叫菜吃饭RM30-50

咁的生活模式，每年100萬唔算多，估計響香港兩個細佬讀國際學校已經洗50-60港幣，每部車消費15萬港幣，已經80-90萬咗. 其實又算不上失敗，畢竟都係享受咗，呢個topic 換個角講可能更加理想😉👍

大馬物價越來越貴，去小店食碗麵都要rm15含稅，貴過澳門，量入為出lo，KL生活品質可以好好，只係睇自己荷包。我一個人在吉隆坡旅居，平日在家工作，衣食住行出埠每月rm5000+，3套五星酒店會籍除開每月rm250+，用來食免費自助餐 & 過節社交用途，以後買房想在putrajaya湖邊，好像歐洲，風景好靚

Wah… very keng … you need spent rm 400 for clothes every month ? Means every month buy new clothes ? As for food maybe u no choice cos u have family of 4 , and your kids are in the stage of growing they might eat a more. And for house I think you have rented expensive jor, 4500 for a rental house is very expensive jor. The average 3 rooms house is 1500-2800 depends on location . But if location like Bangsar, mount kiara or desa park than is higher la . After all if u have 3 houses than u should not complain on cost . Cos is something u want not you need . 🙂

我很同意，身为一个大马打工仔，我们一直以为每个人每月最大开销一定是供楼和车，其实未必正确。以我为例，我买一间单身公寓马币35万供30年，月供RM1300，一架车马币9万供7年，月供RM1000。但是我在KL 市中心工作，饭钱真的很贵，不计早餐吃面包，Lunch 和 Dinner 吃最平价的商场Food court, 一餐连饮品的套餐要RM25，两餐就需要RM50，一个月最少RM1500。不要问我为什么放工不回家自己煮，不是每个打工仔可以准时放工。但是因为饭钱我们不是一笔过给，所以不觉得。

在大马如果一家四口，月入过万是过得很舒服了，一般上是做生意才可以赚几万块或以上的收入，或者很高层的阶级，一般打工族或白领就几千至一万左右的收入，看自己的消费观吧！很难有准确的答案。

I feel Ci Pa estimations are grossly overstated. But the important thing is all of you spent too much on foods especially when eating out.. Each time when all of you go out to eat, all of you eat like there is no tomorrow.. Try to eat in moderation for better health.. And also try to eat more home cooked foods which are more nutritious n healthy..

Do you know Malaysian salaries and wages are very low. If we Malaysians can survive from our monthly income and can still afford to safe a bit, then how is it that your spending is so high? We do not eat out every meals. I can see from your vlogs that you entertain your friends in fine fancy restaurants rather often. There goes your money. You do not need to purchase clothings every month. Bought clothings can last you for a year or two. I have clothings which are 5 years old or more and they are still fine. Just summer clothings only. People here dress very casual with slippers. I only purchase clothings during Chinese New Year. Well, I save on housing as I have my own house. Electricity is average RM160 and water is fixed at RM6 per month. My monthly food allowance for 2 is RM2000 per month. We only go to restaurants to eat unless there is a celebration in the family or if we feel like it. Other days, eating out at coffeeshops cost only RM30 maximum for two. (lunch or dinner). 2 dish rice near my house which I patronised the most, cost me less than RM10 for a one person meal. That is one meat, vegetable, rice, free flow of soup and Chinese tea. Travelling to work and shopping cost me RM150 per month. Petrol is subsides by our government and Grab, Lrt and taxis cost me RM150 per month. The only high expenses are your children's education. I feel your budget is overly inflated. Should cut cost.

Eg from Canada, depend on which province and city, just give you the AVERAGE PRICE: for family of 4 in Cad $. per month. Rental - $ 2800 to $ 3500++ ( the size - apartment smaller than you live in Malaysia) Utilities: Water, Electric, Gas, High speed internet: $ 450 to $500 Depend on the seasons Gas/Hydro, Electric Bills will be more during winter All stuff you buy will add GST/HST tax. Clothing expenses - Depend on the season. Winter can exceed to -20 °c Depend in which province. Eating outside also plus TAX + minimum 10% tips. Eating outside basically very expensive. Schooling- basically free up to high school - public school. You will need to enrolled to tuition, coz in high school will suddenly tough for kids to pick up the standard and school system. Medical consultation cover by government basically. Taxation in here pretty high Depend on how high is your net income. The expenses not going to be very bad if both parents are working.( in high salary)

C Ma, your previous expenses were high probably due to the company and socializing. Now that your focus is back to own family, i think expenses will be more manageable. Once your eldest son starts working, things will be better. For the house rent, if can get a double storey house slightly further from city, maybe grandpa can stay one floor and your family one floor, that may also help to reduce cost. Anyway everything will work out well in the end. Enjoy your life here and don't worry too much.
