Update on yes bank 1)A stock falling 30-40% is a reality with which you have to live in the stock market. 2) I buy for a horizon of more than 3 years, so my opinion does not change with what happens in 3-4 months 3) Its important to diversify, i never invest more than 8-9% of my total investments in any one stock. 4) Honestly i have been wrong in the past and i will be wrong in the future as well. We are all students and we all are learning about the markets.

I think once u achieve good sales and have a healthy bal sheet and p&l for some years then u can go for ipo which is interest free money and using that fund u can buy properties everywhere instead of renting so that even if business becomes slow in future then also property values increases which in a way insures the public money... So in a way, dmart has expanded on this thought which you should have shared honestly to all... Pls do so in all yr case studies in future...

Business model of D-mart is more or less similar to Metro Cash and Carry in terms of cash discount and volume discount. One operates for retail customer and the other for wholesale customer.
