Update on yes bank 1)A stock falling 30-40% is a reality with which you have to live in the stock market. 2) I buy for a horizon of more than 3 years, so my opinion does not change with what happens in 3-4 months 3) Its important to diversify, i never invest more than 8-9% of my total investments in any one stock. 4) Honestly i have been wrong in the past and i will be wrong in the future as well. We are all students and we all are learning about the markets.

I think once u achieve good sales and have a healthy bal sheet and p&l for some years then u can go for ipo which is interest free money and using that fund u can buy properties everywhere instead of renting so that even if business becomes slow in future then also property values increases which in a way insures the public money... So in a way, dmart has expanded on this thought which you should have shared honestly to all... Pls do so in all yr case studies in future...

Sir, nice video and insights on the business model! 1 more point in this business model is that they are the only store who give money back on return of an item. It gets easy for people to buy more goods then, as they think that they can return later. And 20-30% of people may end up buying more due to this 👍

for this u have to open a demat account and trading account as to store ur units of mutual funds in digital form. The best is ICICI Prudiential and HDFC growth Mutual funds.

No need to open a demat a/c.....just do your KYC using any broker (sbi, icici, sharekhan etc).... Once done you can choose direct plans online and start investing..... As easy as that..... Better to go with SIP....

D mart is the best except its crowd management. It's taking too much time on the cash counter. And we can't easily move inside the mart with a cart.

Business model of D-mart is more or less similar to Metro Cash and Carry in terms of cash discount and volume discount. One operates for retail customer and the other for wholesale customer. If you can also provide an analysis on valuation of D-mart, then please do. It will be of great help. Thanks for ur enriched videos

I would like to appreciate what Pranjal told about the shelf space sell strategy if DMart. indeed nobody has every told this and was a new point. Slowly but steadily these real estates being developed as super stores also add a lot of hidden income for DMart. Mr. Damani also invested in Embassy REIT which actually shows how good he is in picking the businesses which have good future. Good work Pranjal !!
