The lyrics of this song really paint a really clear picture, and I love it for it: Sakuya isn't just loyal to Remilia, but rather to the entire SDM, and knows that in the end her time with them will be limited as she'll die before any of them, but the moments she spends with them will be moments she treasures forever. The song was good just by it's music, but this makes it even better.
Also, it reminds me of a PV that I can't quite put a name on, in which Sakuya also grows old over time, while everyone on the SDM remains the same (or maybe some of them but Remilia and Flandre age a litte), and by the end Sakuya's on a wheelchair. Can't find it, or remember the name, but I'm sure it exists and it is beautiful.
As for the circle, activity is one of those oneman-circles that have one member do everything, but I'll be damned if no isn't a good and earnest vocalist. Recently, he's known for collaborating with the circle LSD, so if possible check that out.
