Much as I wish it were easy, this was a difficult song to learn on the piano. My self-criticism for my own theme nearly broke me. In the end, it was Meiling who (quite literally) slapped some sense and into me and told me not to fret.

One correction to my response: Inaba of earth and inaba of moon is official and sactioned, but it's story isn't truly kanon or canon, however it's spelled. Zun knows he can't do amazing art (or rather, high school level drawing) so he writes his stories and finds different artists to help make them. The titles mentioned earlier should not be mixed in with stuff like Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red or the other art books that "Feature" some writing from ZUN and the rest being fan made.

Umm, by the same rules then there are no "official" games either. All the games are doujin games. Doujin doesn't mean fan made, it's like DIY or homebrew. Also, SSiB, inaba earth/moon, The nature diety series, W&HH, and now the new Forbidden Scrollery are "official" by the standard that ZUN writes the entire script and then works with an artist to create the manga and then work with a publisher to produce it. So for all purposes the above listed are official.

@PikminXOXO @MeyuTsumiru There are official manga's (Silent Sinner in Blue- Inaba of moon and Inaba of Earth, The Nature Deity set (Eastern and Little Nature Diety, Strange and Bright Nature Diety, and Oriental Sacred Place) etc.) THe current series I believe is wild and horned hermit. Altough there is no official anime, "Memories of Phantasm" and "Summer Day's Dream" are worth a look, and a third animated item to keep an eye out for is from the animate stores, if it ever makes it to sale.

Most of the times I can understand why they change the key, to make it simpler, but then I found out the Apparitions Stalk the Night [1] uploaded by kkcwkoh that I dl'd was actually in the wrong key... weird thing is, the arrangement has 5 sharps while the original has only 1 sharp (95% sure). So are you saying this one is in a different key too?

Key: C# detuned -25. I can play this on my digital piano with -25 detuning, in C# Key and it looks like the original!

@Holeyhell I don't have perfect pitch either, but I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the notes aren't actually "on pitch" Hm perhaps this is why there are different arrangements, I was wondering why there was such a difference between 1 and 6 flats. At first I looked at the 1 flat as the key of G# major, but now when I look at it as E minor vs Eb minor, that makes a lot more sense. When I play the Eb with kkcwkoh's though it doesn't fit. E- does however! :D

I know I am late but If your still wondering. "The Maid and the Pocket Watch of blood" is the theme song for Sakuya Izayoi (the character in the artwork) Sakuya Izayoi comes from a game called "Touhou 6 Embodiment of Scarlet Devil" a bullet hell game from 2002
