I love and respect everything about this piece so much, and I will never get over it. It was my introduction to T.Stebbins, and remains my favorite. The arrangement is awfully catchy, and the lyrics are (sad, but) brilliant!! English Touhou lyrics are wonderful to see. As someone who does it myself, I can be kind of judgmental about the quality of effort that goes into English lyrics in terms of rhythm and content. But these just hit every good quality point... The extremely well-flowing internal rhymes... the fantastic use of PoFV's motifs to weave into a standalone story (SO IMPORTANT, truly showing respect to the original material while also being creative and wide-reaching in relatable appeal!)... even down to the cleverness of using the theme of "the end" for the game's ending theme. Thank you for the sub and upload, and thank this song/artist for existing.

2024 upd: weird to be back to the comment specificaly to add an update. after around 10 years our spring has come to its ending, too. it wasn't working out anymore. weirdly enough, the decision was also followed by listening to this and Remorse on repeat. and this time, too, i dont have any bittersweet aftertase to the songs. must be odyssey's magic, huh. this song and Remorse actually helped me to kick my own ass and talk out everything w/ my so, when they wanted to break up. i guess if i weren't listening them on repeat that whole day i wouldn't be able to help them to fix the situation we were in. it was like a year or so ago, we are still together and im really happy that both these songs didn't left that bitter taste on my tounge and im not having emotional throwbacks to that time.

It's sad, but i can completely see my Ex using this song to represent the end of our relationship, whereas I'm representing the track 'Remorse'. Ahh... Memories. This song was one of the first sparks of my life as a touhou fan. I didn't know that much characters, so you know I wanted learn these two. How I would find them is by typing random things in the Official Touhou Wiki search bar. I also had some trouble pronouncing the names (for example, Reimu for being REE-muu, and weirdly Marisa being MAHR-see-ah or MAY-see-rah). I miss being so new to the Touhou fandom, great memories I had at that time.
